Say you scared if you scared.

A girl I used to love told me the same thing. “I’ll never give up on you, I’ll always be with you.” I believed her and responded, “through thick and thin”. And now a couple years a later, she’s the one who pushes me away. Ironically, I’m back in the same position with someone new; yet she has the capacity to surpass the previous limitations of love I use to twirl around my mind. Is this something I should believe in and put my effort into? I told her I would, and I’ve given her my word and world. The chase isn’t a phase, but the convincing is what will make us both stay.

What makes this situation different than before?
